Norah McCabe Hope Tribute Fund

Norah McCabe was born on June 29, 1940 in Manchester North; sister to John and Bryan. At the age of 20, she was married to the love of her life; the late Daniel McCabe, until his death in 1996. Norah lived a happy and active life; best known around Shaw (Oldham) as the life and soul of Wraggs Tavern, where she made many good friends and entertained customers on a daily basis! Norah then died on the 27th December 2012, peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her family. Mother to Denise, Deborah and Michelle. Nanna to Aaron, Daniella, Christian, Kieran, Racheal, Taylor, Layne, Ethan, Mason and Ashley. Great Nanna to Millie, Viggo, Natalina and Byron. And friend to many, many more... Norah had an amazing personality and zest for life, which was felt by everyone who ever met her. She spent her life making her family happy and looking after other people; there was nothing she wouldn't do for anyone. She was strong, brave and kind and doted on by her friends and family. Norah will leave a massive hole in many hearts, but will be in our thoughts every single day. A truly amazing lady. Norah had asked that donations to The Christie be left after her death as opposed to flowers. Therefore please give generously in remembrance of such a special lady. Xx
